Send Off

There was a big send off yesterday for the crew going out to Chelsea. As the main Society party venue, the "polo grounds" never quite reached the project stage, but the scaled back Adirondak Chair "circle of knowledge" really did. There's nothing like a bunch of gardeners tossing soil and killer rabbit stories back and forth with their weary selves plopped on plastic chairs and organic red wine dribbled onto their colorful foam knee pads.

The crew exercised restraint and laid off the drink due to a rumor that Heathrow is a hunting ground for post soviet landscape slave trade activities. You nod off in the terminal for a second and next you know your scraping permafrost off the fields of some Yugoslavian beet farm. Yes, the stories are true. The Society lost two senior members in the Great Perennial Pogrom of '89.

I think once the crew gets to central London they will be fine.

God speed to the crew!
